Fitz-Gerald earns race's first newspaper endorsement
Noting that Joan Fitz-Gerald has the experience "to help her hit the ground running," the Vail Daily announced its endorsement of Fitz-Gerald in her bid to represent Colorado's second congressional district. In the hotly contested primary, the newspaper emphasized Fitz-Gerald's strong record of advocacy, legislative experience, and leadership ability.
