In the fast-approaching North Carolina Democratic primary, State Senator Kay Hagan has pulled ahead of her opponent for U.S. Senate in both fundraising and polling numbers. If Hagan wins her primary, she’ll go on to challenge incumbent Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole in November.
