Long Thompson Will Bring Growth to Indiana’s Economy
Jill Long Thompson is working hard to let Indiana voters know she’s the gubernatorial candidate with the right plan to revive the state’s economy. Her plan, “Reinvest in Indiana,” has three areas of focus -- tax, education, and health care. In Long Thompson’s view, “each issue is just as important to economic growth as infrastructure and economic development programs.” The former U.S. Congresswoman knows that the best way to get good jobs in the state is not only to attract new industries but also support current businesses. Her plan aims to strengthen Indiana’s present economy and, even more important to the state’s future, seek new approaches to job training and recruitment.
