Show some respect for women!

Talking heads on cable news using vile, sexist language that insults and degrades women.

This time it's GOP consultant Alex Castellanos -- purveyor of a racist attack ad on behalf of former Sen. Jesse Helms -- appearing on CNN's Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer Tuesday, May 20.

Commenting in a discussion about a comedy routine characterizing Hillary as a "white b**ch," Castellanos said, "And some women, by the way, are named that and it's accurate."

Message* Dear CNN, I was shocked and disappointed to hear Republican consultant Alex Castellanos spout off sexist hatred on your network unchallenged. As a guest on the Situation Room, Castellanos indicated that it is appropriate to refer to some women, including Sen. Hillary Clinton, as "b**ches." I am writing today to ask that you cease inviting Castellanos onto CNN programs. I am also asking that CNN establish a policy making it clear -- on the air -- that guests who make overtly sexist or racist statements will not be tolerated.
