PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Events intern will gain invaluable experience learning and planning a wide-range of EMILY’s List events. Interns assist the Events team by doing venue research, drafting invitations, tracking event RSVPs, and managing the Events inbox. They also have potential opportunity to assist on site at some events.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Help with event logistics including emails, invitations, and other materials;
  • Draft event emails and invitation letters for event outreach;
  • Work to track event RSVPs and registration for large and small events;
  • Research and contact potential event venues;
  • Potential for opportunities to assist on site at events with registration, set up, etc;
  • Work closely with other departments on event logistics and planning;
  • Provide general staff support to the Events Department and team members;
  • Provide organizational support as requested or necessary.
