On Friday, August 16, EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, will host its annual luncheon.  The event will highlight the accomplishments of women in politics both nationally and locally, while taking a look at the road ahead as 2020 approaches.

Last night, the Trump administration announced they will begin enforcing the Title X gag rule immediately. This dangerous policy cuts off federal funds to health care facilities that provide abortion and abortion referrals, creating financial barriers for health care providers who oversee critical abortion and maternal care, jeopardizing the health care of millions of American families.
