EMILY's List and Ani DiFranco Partner Ahead of 2018 Midterms

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, EMILY's List, the nation's largest resource for women in politics, announced that they will be partnering with activist and musician Ani DiFranco. As part of their partnership, DiFranco will be joining the EMILY's List Creative Council, while EMILY's List will participate in DiFranco's upcoming tour, offering information about the organization and women running for office to concertgoers.

“We are thrilled to expand the partnership between Ani DiFranco and EMILY's List at the start of what will be an historic year for Democratic women,” said Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY's List. “A fierce activist and advocate for women's rights, it's an honor to have Ani join our five-million-strong EMILY's List community. In a year when our work is more important than ever, her voice will help us elect a wave of pro-choice Democratic women to office this November.”

Early this cycle, DiFranco included EMILY's List in Babefest, the second edition of her traveling music, community and activism festival.
